Deyan Barić is a well known Croatian fine art photographer and graphic designer with the experience acquired over more than a decade.
He has gained recognition through numerous group and independent art exhibitions, but also through collaborations with other famous Croatian artists and musicians, such as Darko Rundek, Phantasmagoria, Let3, Mačke, Septica and Psihomodo Pop, for whose DVD cover art he was nominated for PORIN, the prestigious Croatian music award.
Besides photography, Dejan also writes for eminent Croatian media as a columnist and IT journalist (magazines such as VIDI, Klik, Graph, and numerous web portals), and until recently he was a lecturer of graphic design at Ivora School of Informatics on Adobe-based application packages. He is a frequent lecturer on various photography workshops and a regular lecturer on Photoshop at Fotosofia photo seminar by Damir Hoyka.
During the recent years he has regularly published monthly professional ADOBE Photoshop tutorials, unique in Croatia, in VIDI, the leading Croatian ICT/CE magazine specialized for hi-tech information, and as a member of Fotoklub Zagreb and the Croatian Photographers Association, he is giving his artistic, professional and journalistic contribution to the development of photographic art in Croatia and beyond.
